One of my favorite quotes is, “Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.” – William James

High School Senior Shandi Mackintosh touched the hearts of many, as she spear headed a fundraiser for the Thompson Family who had two young daughters battling cancer, in hopes to help pay for their cancer treatments. This is an example of the power of one, truly making a difference.
